i tried out the new dynamo on the bike to see if it charges my mobile phone. i need that to document the distance i bike and to keep sponsors informed of how much they have to donate already.

so i went for a little ride on donauinsel, but the test failed. my mobile phone didn't charge.

fortunately, i met old friends in the evening. one of them, mike, is really into electronics. he promised to check the whole thing out  and fix it on sunday. so i'm positive about it again.

we also had a very lively discussion about poverty and begging, that fit into the theme of my project perfectly. it was very interesting and strengthened my convictions that it is quite necessary to go on this journey.
