monday, 4th of august - 77 km by bike, 18 km by ferry, 9 km by bike again 

to all of you who think that i enjoy the trip:

i woke up at 7, which was too early to get up. so i fell asleep again and dreamed, that the danish people were extremely kind. 

i woke up at 8:30 again and packed all my things, somehow worrying to be late. while i am packing my bags on the bike, kathi comes and asks if i'm off already. of course not!

breakfast with krischi as usual. lasts till 10 or longer. jonas comes along with his kids (the campers) - then a long talk about this and that and everything. 

at half past 11, tom, miriam and leonie show up, more talking. ulli is at the guest house, so we go there later to say goodbye. and as i do so, krischi and i start discussing plans for next year. 

when i'm finally off it's one pm. that's how eager i was to get on the road again. 

then i tried to make up kilometres, because i wanted to reach the ferry. the only place i asked for food gave me 3 big saussages and bread, enough to last until the evening. so i was fast, took the evening ferry and tried to find a place to stay then.

though i met an extra nice family, that invited me for food and chatter, there wasn't a place to stay until it grew dark. fortunately then i found shelter in a horse-trailer. and we had a very interesting talk about hospitality in denmark. 

the trailer was fine, no insects, dry and soft straw.
